It is a snap action thermostat in which the contacts open instantaneously as soon as the fixed temperature is reached. Any temp. upto 280°C can be set in the factory as per customer’s requirement. It is mostly used in toasters, iron, incubators, sterilizers, surgical & industrial equipment’s, hot plates, etc.
